Sycamore Creek Vineyards Engagement | Emily + Nick

Oh we just love this couple. Nick and Emily will be getting married in just a few weeks (woot!). We have been lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with them...first at their consult with us, and then when they brought us to their tasting (...you guys, they brought us to their tasting for the wedding. Thanks for letting us help you try soooooooo much yummy food! Best meeting ever hahaaaa), and then their engagement session, which as you will see, was just bursting with pretty light and lots of cuddles and laughter. These two are just adorable together. They are 100% smitten. They encourage each other and are so affectionate with each other. Its like super cute. ha!

Here's how they met, as told by Emily: "Nick and I met while I was working as a waitress at Red Robin while going to school to be a Registered Nurse. He was a customer taking a family friend out for mother's day. They ordered drinks and asked if they could have a couple more minutes with the menu. It was one of my last tables before going home, so I was swarming their table waiting for them to decide so I could maybe get off early. I overheard them bicker at each other "you ask her" "no, you ask her." I leaned in and asked "if there are any questions about the menu, feel free to ask me." The family friend blurted "are you single?" I was so thrown off, I felt like it took me 30 seconds before I answered. I usually always tell customers no, but for some odd reason I said yes. I was so embarrassed, I took their order and practically ran away. After getting their food, my manager sent me home. So I went over to his table to tell them I was leaving and that the bartender would take over their table. Before leaving, I sneakingly gave the receipt with my phone number on it. I thought if they use the computer kiosk to pay instead of looking at the check- oh well- but if he did look at the receipt, then it was "meant to be".
Long story short -I am so happy he did look!"
