Nestldown Wedding | Laura + Cameron

As wedding photographers, we see so much beauty every day! We work at some of the most picturesque places on earth. The Bay Area is chock full of stunning wedding venues, but there is a place in the Santa Cruz mountains where MAGIC lives! If you are getting married and you love Disney, a good fairytale, anything Tolkien, Game of Thrones, Twilight, or you just really love whimsical places full of flowers, ponds, redwood trees, and MAGIC, then you must (you must) check out Nestldown in Los Gatos, Ca!

This gem of a venue in the Bay Area takes you to another world the minute you descend from the parking lot into the trees. The ceremonies in the redwood cathedral, where you are surrounded by lush greenery and flowers and (obviously) towering redwoods, are honestly epic. As wedding photographers, it is an inspiring place to be, and we are always honored whenever we are asked to shoot there!

Laura and Cameron are two of the classiest and loveliest people ever. They love to travel and have fun in new places, and they wanted nothing more than to have their wedding transport their guests to a gorgeous experience full of whimsy and play. Their day was filled with friends and family, and while they soaked up time with their people, they were so intentional about taking time together to be in the moment. Their first look was precious and the look on Cameron’s face when he saw his bride was priceless.

Can we talk about the flowers now? Laura brought in a stellar lineup of vendors who took this venue to the next level. The FLOWERS. My friends, there are a few florists in the Bay Area who really go all-out for their clients, and Apis Floral is 1000% one of those chosen few. This wedding was the first we had photographed to have bougainvillea all over the place! I’m still not sure how they pulled it off because this flower dies very quickly, and I’m pretty sure they had to scour the entire Bay in order to get enough for this magnificent day.
