Half Moon Bay Maternity Session | Kelly + Lavar

oh MAMA!!! Isn’t she gorgeous? So …I couldn’t help it. I had to start this blog post off with a shot of Kelly in that amazing red dress! (And then the perfectionist in me had to go back and start at the beginning of the session…none of this matters unless you are someone like me haha!)

We met Kelly when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding that we photographed a few years back. It is always really fun to be able to meet someone at a huge celebration like a wedding, and later get to help them celebrate something special in their own life!

Becoming a mama has been my favorite thing I have ever done (oh ya, hi..this is Bre writing this blog if you haven’t guessed!) and maternity sessions are so special to me! I’m one of those weird moms who miss their bumps! So I love photographing other’s mama’s bumps! 

I talk to mamas a lot about maternity sessions, and often ladies are a little hesitant. They want the memories, but they also don’t feel quite like themselves. Like many other seasons in life, your pregnancy season is short (even though it feels long sometimes!), and it deserves to be documented! Take a chance, get dressed up, and trust us. You will never regret getting some gorgeous memories of your bump! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

We met Kelly + Lavar in Half Moon Bay to document that beautiful baby bump of hers on the most beautiful day, and we had quite the adventure. We explored cliffs and beaches, and we had the best time. They have since welcomed their darling little boy. Congratulations guys!
