After MONTHS of wondering if we were really going to get to do this, we are getting to photograph Danielle + Lucas as they tie the knot tomorrow!! YAY. YAAAY.
But first, a check in!
Hi world! It has been a minute! We have been busy bees over here. Covid 19 had us home for a couple of months, completely unable to do our job. As we learned more about this virus, we were able to start photographing our clients in ways that felt safe. We are so thankful for the couples and families that still want their memories captured during this time for giving us lots and lots of work. And we are thankful for the brides and grooms that decided they did not want to wait, but instead threw the most sweet and intimate small ceremonies. We have been so blessed to be a part of so many of these precious days.
Danielle and Lucas faced the decisions that all of our 2020 couples had to make, ultimately deciding to downsize their day a bit while still keeping the heart of their dream wedding alive! I truly believe it is going to be better than ever.
But let’s step back to their engagement session!
We met Danielle and Lucas at a private ranch belonging to some dear friends of theirs for a day of sunshine and champagne sprays and snuggles in the redwoods. These two were truly meant to be…from the first swipe-right on Tinder, to an awkward first date two years later, and finally to becoming co-workers-turned-best-friends a year after their first date…they CLEARLY were always supposed to find one another. Trust the process, friends! LOL
