There are a few venues in the Bay Area that have the ability to transport you the minute you step foot on their grounds. Thomas Fogarty Winery is one of those venues. Situated on a hilltop in Redwood City, the view at this venue is un-paralleled! The ceremony lawn and the deck where they hold receptions overlook the most magnificent vineyards and Bay Area skyline. It really is such an amazing place!!

So let’s talk about Zaneta and Levey’s beautiful wedding day! As wedding photographers, we just go crazy for days like these. Beautiful details, soft and gorgeous light, genuinely wonderful people, and supremely talented vendors. The day began at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley. I would like to take a moment to mention the gold branches detail above the bed in Zaneta’s suite. It is the perfect spot to hang a wedding dress from. The amazing planner, Denise, and I couldn’t stop talking about how much we wanted to take it along with us haha

If you are getting married, the spot where you get ready is really important! This hotel really has it all. Beautiful light from huge windows, classic and modern palettes throughout the hotel, and of course, a great space to get ready for the biggest day ever! Just gorgeous. We could go on and on, but let’s get back to the wedding.

Zaneta and Levey opted for a first look so that they could spend more time together on their wedding day, but they had a few timing issues with transportation and decided that it would make the most sense for the whole wedding party to travel to the venue together. However, they didn’t want to do their first look until they got to the vineyard. The solution? Panda eye mask for the Groom! So cute, and also, such a great solution to a somewhat common problem. (PRO TIP: Brides + Grooms, save time and money on transportation by riding together…just use a blindfold!)

We arrived at Thomas Fogarty, Zaneta slipped into her gown, and it was First Look time! Easy peasy.

Here are a few things we loved from this great day: the ring bearer’s teddy bear back pack and dance moves down the aisle, bubbles during there ceremony exit, long tables with gorgeous draping florals and garlands, the View (had to be mentioned again!), our sunset walk with the new Mr + Mrs, the choreographed first dance complete with outfit change, and the sparkler exit!
