Andy + Karel's Wedding at Cornerstone Gardens was a favorite for us! The Bride + Groom are two incredibly creative, special, and unique people who met while working for a video game company! They are illustrators + video game artists! Ummm fun! They gave their vendors the opportunity to do something really fun by creating a day that incorporated their personalities, while balancing those personalities with the kind of glitz and elegance that every wedding should have!

Something that we really appreciated about these two was that they took their venue into account when planning their day. They very successfully brought in a lot of different colors and even more textural elements (i.e. multiple textures used in linens, invitations, varied bridesmaids gowns, her floral veil, his seersucker suit etc), while still sending you away thinking of their neutral, golden palette. The artwork they placed around Cornerstone Gardens (in addition to the venues many on-site exhibits) helped to marry the venue's already natural artistic flair to the couple's chosen theme. Then, they created a really great party for their guests to enjoy with really fun vintage music that also had a modern twist, and multiple lounge areas and reception venues. Their ceremony was setup in a way that allowed guests to sit around them so that they were married (literally) in the center of those that they love most. Cocktail hour took place in a barn, followed by dinner under that gorgeous garden tent, and then back to the barn for dancing, drinks, fresh ice cream, and desserts!
